Many mental health and substance use services can be accessed in person or via telehealth through video or phone calls from your home. For services funded by Medical Assistance, call 1-800-888-1965 or the LBHA at (301) 856-9500. Below are resource guides to help you identify a provider who meets your needs.

Many schools in Prince George's County have counselors who support students' mental health. Ask your school for more information about mental health resources. 

Local Care Team 

Parents or caregivers, if you're dealing with challenges such as working with multiple behavioral health agencies or not knowing where to find services, contact the Department of Family Services at (301) 265-8446 for more information about the Local Care Team. This team of professionals and advocates can help guide you. 

Youth Services Bureaus

In some municipalities in Prince George's County, there are extra services for young people. The LBHA doesn't control these services, but they can be important resources for people in the community. Here are some Youth Service Bureaus in the county.
