Tara H. Jackson has been appointed as the new State's Attorney, succeeding Aisha Braveboy, who has transitioned to the role of County Executive for Prince George's County. Jackson will serve in this position for the next 18 months, following Braveboy's successful campaign and the vacancy created by Angela Alsobrooks' historic election to the United States Senate in 2024.
