Prince George’s Goes Pink
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Prince George’s Goes Pink is our annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer and connect residents, fighters, and survivors to information, resources, and information on prevention. Prince George’s County has one of the highest mortality rates of breast cancer in the state of Maryland. Our goal is to change that, and we ask you, whether you’re a survivor or supporter, to join us as Prince George’s Goes Pink in a community near you!
Office of Veterans’ Affairs
Prince George’s County is home to the largest population of veterans in the State of Maryland. This division of the Office of the County Executive serves eligible veterans, their dependents, surviving spouses, children of deceased veterans, members of the Reserves or National Guard, and active-duty service members who reside in the County with the pursuit of qualified benefits and access to referral services for a broad range of needs.
