George Nader

Chief of Police

Chief George Nader brings an impressive 32 years of law enforcement experience to his role as the Chief of the Prince George’s County Police Department, a position he has held since June 18, 2025. Before this appointment, he served as the Assistant Chief of Police for the Metro Transit Police Department, where he managed daily operations. His tenure at Metro Transit Police also included significant leadership roles as Deputy Chief in both the Administrative Bureau and the Homeland Security, Investigations, and Intelligence Bureau.
