LARGO, MD – The Prince George's County Department of the Environment (DoE), in partnership with the City of Hyattsville, is seeking exhibitors, vendors, and food truck operators to participate in the 2026 Prince George's County Green Festival, taking place Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at David C. Driskell Community Park in Hyattsville.

The Green Festival is one of the County's signature environmental events, bringing residents, businesses, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and community partners together for a day of environmental education, family-friendly activities, demonstrations, entertainment, and opportunities to learn how everyone can help elevate a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable Prince George's County.

DoE is inviting organizations and businesses that support environmental sustainability, conservation, clean communities, healthy living, and other green initiatives to join the festival as exhibitors and vendors.

Exhibitors are encouraged to provide engaging, interactive displays and activities that educate attendees about environmental programs, resources, and actions they can take at home, at work, and in their communities.

Participation opportunities include:

  • Environmental and sustainability exhibitors
  • Community and nonprofit organizations
  • County agencies and community partners
  • Green businesses and eco-friendly vendors
  • Educational and youth organizations
  • Local artisans and makers
  • Food trucks and food vendors
  • Organizations offering interactive demonstrations, activities, and environmental resources

Animal lovers will also have plenty to celebrate at this year's Green Festival with Pawchella, a special pet adoption and animal resource area presented by the Prince George's County Animal Services Division.

Pawchella will give festivalgoers an opportunity to meet adoptable pets looking for loving homes while learning more about the programs, services, and resources available to pet owners. Animal Services staff and other animal organizations will be on hand to provide information about responsible pet ownership, adoption, fostering, volunteering, and other resources designed to support pets and the people who love them.

Whether attendees are ready to welcome a new four-legged family member or simply want to learn more about caring for their pets, Pawchella will offer a fun and engaging destination for animal lovers throughout the festival.

The Green Festival will also feature activities and information highlighting recycling and waste reduction, litter prevention and community beautification, stormwater management, clean energy and climate action, animal services, natural resources, sustainable practices, and other County environmental programs.

“The Green Festival gives our residents an opportunity to connect directly with organizations, businesses, and community partners that are helping us elevate a cleaner and more sustainable Prince George's County," says DoE Director, Dr. Samuel B. Moki. "From environmental education and community resources to Pawchella and our adoptable pets, there will be something for the entire family to enjoy."

Organizations interested in participating are encouraged to apply early. Space is limited, and participation is subject to approval.
