Public Convenience Centers

Effective April 15, due to ongoing construction, the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW), Electronic Waste and other associated lots at the Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill, 11611 White House Road in Upper Marlboro, will temporarily close to the public until further notice. Residents can temporarily take items to the Brown Station Road Convenience Center, 3501 Brown Station Road, Upper Marlboro, for proper disposal.

• Scrap Metal

• E-Waste

• Durable Medical Equipment

• Auto Batteries

• Residential Car & Pickup Truck Tires (Limit 5)

• Refrigeration Units

• Whitegoods

• Mower’s w/o Batteries, Gasoline and Oil

• Cooking Oil (Limit 5 Gallons)

• Carpet Padding

• Brown Station Road Public Container Pad and Recycling Area

• Missouri Avenue Solid Waste Acceptance and Recycling Center
