Prince George’s County Residential Convenience Drop-off Centers to Close at 4 p.m. Today, Tuesday, January 27, 2026
LARGO, MD — Due to weather-related concerns, the Prince George's County Department of the Environment announces that the Brown Station Road Residential Convenience Drop-off Center in Upper Marlboro and the Missouri Avenue Residential Convenience Drop-off Center in Brandywine will close today at 4 p.m.
Currently, all other County waste and recycling collection facilities remain open and operating on their normal schedules.
Residents are encouraged to visit mypgc.us for the latest updates on facility closures, reopening schedules, and winter weather service alerts.
Residents may also sign up for Alert Prince George's at alert.mypgc.us to receive emergency and weather-related notifications by text message, phone call, or email.
For additional information related to winter weather events or County services, residents may contact PGC311 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, or submit a service request online at PGC311.com.
