The Prince George's County Pension Plans

The Prince George's County Government, sponsors eleven (11) define benefit pension plans for Sworn Public Service and General Service Employees. These plans provide employees who meet certain plan requirements with a lifetime monthly benefit upon retirement.

The Office of Human Resources Pensions Administration, Retirement Services Division is task with overseeing the daily operation of these plans, coordinates enrollment in the Maryland State Retirement & Pensions System, and the Deferred Compensation Program. The Division is committed to ensuring County employees are able to make informed decisions about their retirement.
