Alternative Work Arrangements
Eligible Prince George's County Government employees have access to use two (2) types of Alternative Work Arrangements (AWA) offered:

The Telework Arrangement Program (TAP) allows for paid employment performed away from the traditional office, depending on the nature of the job. Participation is voluntary and subject to management approval.

An Alternative Work Schedule (AWS) provides eligible employees of the Executive Branch the option to work either a compressed schedule or a flex schedule that would equate to eighty (80) hours during the bi-weekly pay period.

Effective June 23, 2025, all AWA requests must be submitted via NEOGOV E-Forms. Physical forms, such as Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF, will not be accepted.
To apply, log into to NEOGOV and go to the Forms tab (located at the top of the webpage). Once on the Forms page, you will see an E-Form link under Quick Links area called AWS/TAP Request Form - [AGENCY NAME]. Click that link to start the process!
