Election Results Verification Press Release

Prince George's County Board of Elections is committed to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of all elections conducted within Prince George's County. During the Maryland State Board of Elections' and Prince George's County Board of Elections' established post-election verification process for the 2026 Gubernatorial Primary Election, an administrative discrepancy was identified during the processing of USB media associated with three (3) Election Day polling places. The discrepancy was detected through the 100% verification of Election Day results and was promptly investigated and corrected through established auditing, reconciliation, and quality assurance procedures, ensuring that the official election results accurately reflect the ballots cast by voters.

Specimen Ballot Press Release

Prince George’s County Board of Elections announced today that the local distribution of physical specimen ballots for the 2026 Primary Election is successfully underway across the county. Following minor logistical adjustments at the printing level, the U.S. Postal Service began processing and shipping the ballots out in continuous waves starting on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

Mail-In Ballot Replacement Information

Due to an error in the printing process, some voters received the incorrect party ballot for the Gubernatorial Primary Election. This error affects only voters who were mailed a ballot before May 14, 2026. All affected voters will be mailed a replacement ballot.
