Free State Riding Club
The Free State Riding Club Tax Credit is a property tax credit authorized under Maryland law for qualifying real property owned by Free State Riding Club, Inc.
The credit is intended to reduce the property tax burden on land dedicated to nonprofit athletic and equestrian recreation within Prince George's County.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Free State Riding Club Tax Credit, all of the following requirements must be met:
- The real property must be owned by Free State Riding Club, Inc.
- The property must be used exclusively for nonprofit athletic recreation.
Eligible Properties
The credit applies only to real property that:
- Is owned by Free State Riding Club, Inc.; and
- Is used solely for nonprofit athletic recreation.
Important Information
- Property used for commercial activities, profit-making purposes, or non-athletic uses is not eligible for this tax credit.
- The credit is available only for properties meeting both the ownership and use requirements established by law.
- This is an entity-specific property tax credit authorized for Free State Riding Club, Inc.
