Prince George’s County TheBus Spring Service Change – Effective June 14, 2026

 

Prince George’s County is considering changes to TheBus to better serve your needs. 

We want to hear from you! Take our survey to provide feedback on the proposed changes.  
Changes to service would take effect June 14, 2026.

Changes include potential adjustments to routes and schedules for the following routes:

Route P37 is proposed to operate during peak periods only (6:30 AM to 9:30 AM and 2:50 PM to 6:50 PM) due to low ridership.

Route P88 is proposed to enter the Heather Hill Apartments complex, adding a stop inside the property and improving direct access for riders. This change may slightly increase travel time.

Route P95 is proposed to discontinue the two express trips on weekday mornings to Fort Washington Medical Center and the first two trips on Saturday. Fort Washington trips would end at the Park & Ride instead of the Medical Center.

The County is also exploring potentially adding Sunday service for the following routes:

Route P43

Route P64

Route P65

Route P76

Route P85

Route P86

Route P88
