Spring Countywide Operations Begin Monday, April 13!
The Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T) currently offers Residential Street Sweeping for the first time in Prince George's County's history!
The Residential Street Sweeping Program aims to significantly reduce the amount of debris along residential roadways, helping to prevent litter buildup and mitigate potential pollutants in our ecosystem. Phase I of this exciting new program launched as a pilot program in September 2024. Phase II, Countywide street sweeping, began in 2025. The Residential Street Sweeping Program will resume on Monday, April 13, for Countywide spring operations.
