DPW&T, in partnership with the Prince George’s County Office of Procurement, is excited to announce vendor opportunities for the 2026 – 2027 snow season

The Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T) is seeking dedicated partners– Heavy Equipment Operators, Snowplow Drivers, and winter weather professionals to help us keep Prince George’s County safe, clear, and connected during the 2026 – 2027 Snow Season. Vendor registration is open from now through February 2027.  

All vendors interested in submitting responses to procurements or any DPW&T solicitations must do so through the Ariba/SPEED eProcurement Platform - not the eMaryland Marketplace Advantage (EMMA).  Bids CANNOT be submitted to the eMaryland Marketplace Advantage (EMMA) website. 

Vendors are welcome to sign up for a FREE Ariba Network account, but must complete the registration before each solicitation’s closing date to ensure responses are received on time. Vendors who are not registered with Ariba may follow the registration links below or in the Vendor Registration Process guidance provided.  NO HARD COPY SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Prospective vendors should monitor Ariba for any updated details, as updates may include changes in the requirements, changes to the response due date, and answers to questions submitted about each procurement. Questions and answers are a vital part of this process and must be asked and answered within the Ariba/Speed system.
