Housing Choice Voucher Program

The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program Wait List is now CLOSED. The application period was from Monday, December 1, 2025 12:01 a.m. to Friday, December 5, 2025 11:59 p.m. EST.

How will I know if I’ve been selected for the waitlist?

Applicants that were randomly selected through the lottery will be notified by the email that was used to apply for the waitlist and the mailing address that was used to apply for the 2025 Waitlist Opening once the lottery is complete. Be sure to check both.

How long will it take to be notified?

Notifications are typically sent through email and/or mail at least 45 days after the waitlist closes. Please allow our staff time for processing and DO NOT CONTACT HAPGC FOR STATUS UPDATES.

What happens if I’m selected?

If selected by the lottery process for placement onto the waitlist, you will receive instructions on how to complete eligibility verification and provide required documentation.

What if my contact information changes during the lottery?

Only applicants who are selected to be placed on the waitlist need to notify HAPGC in writing to any changes to your address, phone number, or email. Failure to do so may result in removal from the waitlist.
