Strategic Partnerships and Community Impact
The newly-established Strategic Partnerships and Community Impact (SPCI) Division within PGCDSS will bridge the gap between county resources and the residents we serve daily. The PGCDSS serves roughly 350,000 Prince Georgians annually; nearly a third of the county’s entire population. Through SPCI, our department will be positioned and well-equipped with a dedicated, knowledgeable team, which will further drive community-based solutions with relevant stakeholders to build stronger communities, one family at a time.
At PGCDSS, we believe the best work is done together. Partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and community members—like you—drive our mission forward and support us in creating the brightest future for Prince Georgians.
What Will Drive SPCI’s Work
- Collaboration: Develop and nourish key partnerships and relationships with community organizations and businesses.
- Engagement: Positively and proactively engage with the community through strategic outreach and events.
- Equity: Approach work with culturally competent, data- and trauma-informed strategies
- Accountability: Monitor impact on communities and stakeholders to maximize positive impact from initiatives, services, and programs.
Key Division Pillars
