Message from the County Executive

Prince George’s County Residents,

As fall brings a season of renewal and reset, I am inviting residents from North, Central, and South County to join us for our bi-annual Countywide Beautification Event, Clean and Green: Elevate the Scene.

A clean, welcoming, and vibrant Prince George’s County remains a top priority of my administration. Over the past year, we launched the Countywide Litter and Beautification Blitz, introduced Project Elevate, and started new initiatives that elevate neighborhoods throughout the county.

Illegal dumping and litter continue to challenge neighborhoods across Prince George’s County. Our County agencies, contractors, and Strike Force 3-1-1 teams have worked diligently to respond, restore public spaces, and address long-standing concerns. But keeping our County clean cannot rest on government alone. Litter does not simply appear—it is left behind, intentionally or unintentionally—and each of us has a role in protecting the beauty of our communities.

So we’re calling on you! This is your chance to gather your neighbors (or volunteer individually), choose a location that matters to you, and make a visible difference in your own community. Together, we can strengthen neighborhood pride, protect our shared spaces, and continue elevating the quality of life throughout Prince George’s County.

Join us for Clean and Green: Elevate the Scene – Fall!
