Message from the County Executive
Dear Prince Georgians:
Cleaning up our County has been a top priority for me! Your support of the work we’re doing has been amazing. Our initial focus began with the Countywide Litter and Beautification Blitz in June. That kickoff launched “Project Elevate” and while the Blitz continued, we followed up with Strike Force 3-1-1 to address long-standing service requests in PGC311 system.
As the lovely Fall season approaches in beautiful Prince George’s County, I’m asking you to join me in our Annual Fall Cleanup and Planting event! We’re calling it "Clean & Green: Elevate the Scene”.
Please join us on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a fabulous fun day focused on sprucing up our neighborhoods by spreading mulch, cleaning up litter, and tackling illegal dumping. It’s a beautiful time of year to come together, roll up our sleeves, and have fun together by making our county clean and green.
The Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T) will provide everything we’ll need in the way of supplies – garbage bags, gloves, safety vests, litter grabbers, and mulch for everyone who volunteers. Join us solo, bring a friend or family member, or come as a group.
Sign up now! Fill out the registration form on our website: http://MyPGC.us/CleanAndGreen. Remember, if you’re volunteering with a group, be sure to include your organization’s name, mailing address, how many people you expect to join your group, along with the areas where you intend to plant or clean up.
Registration deadline is Friday, October 17, 2025. Thanks for being ready to pitch in and help for the Fall 2025 "Clean & Green: Elevate the Scene" community beautification event.
Together, I know we can make Prince George’s County the cleanest greenest scene in Maryland.
I’ll be there and I look forward to seeing you and your friends, family and neighbors. Thanks for caring about our community!
Sincerely,
Aisha N. Braveboy
Prince George’s County Executive
