Winter 2026 Virtual Community Partners' Meeting

On a rotating basis, agencies convene for Virtual Community Partners' Meetings, a standard forum that delivers updates to residents regarding agency initiatives, available resources, and critical information.

On Thursday, December 3rd, between 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., residents are invited to attend the Winter Virtual Community Partners' Meeting with the Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T), the Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement (DPIE), the Department of the Environment (DoE), and more—this marks the final Community Partners' Meeting of the year! Senior agency officials and specialized experts will participate virtually, sharing updates on emerging programs, services, and new initiatives.

DPW&T Snow Summit Series

To help residents better understand DPW&T's snow operations, learn about best practices during winter weather, and access resources for navigating winter conditions successfully, DPW&T hosts a series of Snow Summits both in-person and online. These summits ensure that all residents have the opportunity to attend and receive this important information.

In-Person Snow Summit

Thursday, December 10

Join the Department of Public Works & Transportation (DPW&T) in person for the Snow Summit, taking place at the MOC Building, located at 8400 D'Arcy Road, Forestville, MD 20747 from 10:00am - 11:30am. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from agency leaders about the upcoming snow operations plan, what to expect during an active snow event, and how to keep yourself, your property, and your personal belongings safe during winter storms.

Please note that space is limited; once registration capacity is reached, additional guests will be directed to attend our virtual event the following week.

Virtual Snow Summit

Thursday, December 17

Join the Department of Public Works & Transportation (DPW&T) virtually on Zoom from 6:30pm - 8:00pm for the Snow Summit. Residents will have the opportunity to hear from agency leaders about the upcoming snow operations plan, what to expect during an active snow event, and how to keep themselves, their property, and their personal belongings safe during winter storms.
