Residential Street Sweeping Program
The Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T) currently offers Residential Street Sweeping for the first time in Prince George's County's history!
The Residential Street Sweeping Program aims to significantly reduce the amount of debris along residential roadways, helping to prevent litter buildup and mitigate potential pollutants in our ecosystem. Phase I of this exciting new program launched in September 2024. Phase II, Countywide street sweeping began April 14, 2025. The Residential Street Sweeping Program has concluded for 2025 and will return in spring 2026.
