It's clean-up time! Grab your gloves, roll up your sleeves, and let's get ready to ELEVATE Prince George's County! Join "Clean and Green: Elevate the Scene," a countywide beautification initiative that drives our beautification efforts. Rally your friends, community groups, and neighbors to elevate our spaces into showcases of pride and beauty.

Arbor Day 2026

Friday, April 17

Every year, on a Friday in April, the Beautification Committee celebrates the official Prince George's County Arbor Day event at a selected County elementary school. The tradition of involving an entire elementary school in the celebration of Arbor Day began in 1985 with County Executive Parris Glendening.
