Participants understand this beautification and street litter pickup activity provides volunteer opportunities for community organizations, schools, businesses, faith-based organizations and nonprofits to partner with Prince George’s County Government to celebrate community pride, volunteerism and commitment to our neighborhoods. The supplies provided by the County must only be used/installed in public areas. It will be the responsibility of the organization to regularly monitor and/or maintain their selected area.
All students under the age of 18 years old will be required to submit a permission slip signed by their parent or guardian. The signed permission slip shall be submitted to the organization’s coordinator prior to Saturday, May 4, 2019.
Organizations agree to capture all litter collected via LitterTrak so each organization may participate in the competition among all participating groups. If an organization does not have access to LitterTrak, assistance will be provided by Prince George’s County Government.
