Routes & Schedules

TheBus runs regular service between Monday and Friday, except on most Federal Holidays. For Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President’s Day, Native American Day and Veteran’s Day, the Prince George’s County TheBus system runs a regular weekday schedule. 

On this page, you can view and download our system map, bus schedules and the NextBus application for real-time arrivals for our buses. Please report any schedule and operational issues through the County’s 311 system or call (301) 324-2877.

Monday, August 24, 2020

Effective Monday, August 24th, 2020, TheBus Routes 13, 16, 17, 26, 28, 30, 32, 33, 35, and 36 will operates from 60 to 30-40 minute frequencies.

Routes 18, 20, 21, and 24 will continue to operate in 30 minute frequencies.

TheBus will also be restoring service on the Route 34, operating 15 minutes frequencies in the peak and 30 minute frequencies in the off-peak.

The Route 53 and 51 will be combine and operated as two separate loops - Route 51A and 51B. Route 51A will serve U.S. 301 and Village West. Route 51B will serve Dille Drive and John Rogers Boulevard.

⚠️Due to Purple Line construction at the College Park Station, the Route 14 will continue onto Campus Drive after leaving Good Luck Road, instead of making a left turn at MD-201. As a result, bus stops on MD-201 south of Campus Drive/Good Luck Road, and northbound on River Road will be skipped. This temporary detour will be in effect from September 2019 to May 2020 additional information.
