Overview

The Firearms Enforcement & Narcotics Intelligence Unit is dedicated to protecting the residents of Prince George’s County through the fair and equitable administration of justice.

Our mission is to enhance public safety and prevent gun violence by identifying, investigating, and prosecuting high-level firearm offenders, while also targeting narcotics activity that fuels violence in our communities.

The Unit responds directly to community concerns regarding persistent drug activity and associated criminal behavior, using intelligence-driven strategies to disrupt illegal networks and reduce harm. Through focused enforcement and coordination with law enforcement partners, the Unit plays a critical role in improving safety and quality of life across the County.
