State's Attorney Announces Sentence of Driver Involved in Hit and Run in Landover Parking Lot
UPPER MARLBORO, MD – Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Tara Jackson has announced that 19-year-old Naef Salmo was convicted of one count of driver failure to remain at the scene of an accident where the driver should have known serious bodily injury occurred and serious bodily injury did occur.
Salmo was sentenced to five years, suspending all but six and a half months. He served six and a half months in jail and was placed on three years of supervised probation. In addition, Salmo is required to pay restitution to the victim and complete community service.
In September 2025, Salmo was involved in a hit and run incident at a car meetup in a Landover parking lot. The victim of the accident survived but suffered life-threatening injuries.
