State's Attorney Announces Indictment of Four Defendants in Greenbelt Homicide

UPPER MARLBORO, MD – Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Tara Jackson has announced that 18-year-old Jamarri Ruffin, 18-year-old Abdourahmane Sylla, and two male juveniles have been indicted on charges including first-degree murder, second-degree murder, first-degree assault, and the use of a firearm in the commission of a violent felony, related to the murder of 14-year-old Carltin Bayong. All four defendants have been held without bond. 

 

In October 2025, Bayong was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting in Greenbelt.
