State's Attorney Announces Indictment of Air Force Major

UPPER MARLBORO, MD – Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Tara Jackson announced today that 34-year-old Richard F. Gayson of Fort Washington has been indicted on 128 counts of possession of child pornography. 
 
Gayson was apprehended on May 6, 2026, and initially held without bond. During a bond review hearing on July 10, 2026, Gayson was released on private home detention by a judge despite opposition from prosecutors.
