Domestic Violence Resources in Prince George's County
If you are experiencing domestic violence or abuse, you are not alone. The Prince George's County Police Department, Family Justice Center and Department of Family Services are here to help you and have services available to keep you and your family safe. Domestic Violence Section
The Prince George's County Police Department's Domestic Violence Section handles all first-degree domestic-related assaults that occur between intimate partners and household family members. Additionally, they provide prevention training and education to officers and the community. The Family Justice Center
The Prince George’s County Family Justice Center is a safe and secure facility which provides coordinated advocacy and government services for those impacted by domestic violence. Their focus is on legal support, social services (health and welfare), and basic support (medical assistance, clothing, and transportation).
Department of Family Services
The Prince George's County Department of Family Services assists some of the County’s most vulnerable citizens who are victims of domestic violence.
