Narcotic Enforcement Division

The Narcotic Enforcement Division comprises the Narcotic Unit, Gang Unit, Interdiction Unit, Asset Forfeiture Unit, Technical Operations Unit, Human Trafficking Unit, and Federal Task Force Unit.  The mission of the Narcotic Enforcement Division is to identify, investigate, and prosecute street-level drug distribution, major drug trafficking organizations, and gang-related crimes throughout the County.   The Narcotic Enforcement Division works in a covert capacity to enforce federal, state, and local felony-level drug and firearms laws. The Narcotic Enforcement Division participates in federally funded High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area projects, Drug Enforcement Agency Task Forces, and the state Metropolitan Area Drug Task Force. The Narcotic Enforcement Division also investigates human trafficking and works with the Prince George’s County Human Trafficking Task Force to rescue trafficking victims and prosecute traffickers.
