Oluseyi Olugbenle

Oluseyi Olugbenle was appointed Acting Director of the Prince George's County Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T), effective July 3, 2026. A respected leader in transportation planning and public works, she brings years of experience, strategic vision, and a strong commitment to serving the residents of Prince George's County.

Before she was appointed Acting Director, Oluseyi served as DPW&T's Deputy Director since 2022. In this role, she played a critical part in guiding the department's strategic direction, overseeing major initiatives, and supporting the daily operations of an agency of more than 450 employees across six divisions. Her collaborative leadership and focus on innovation have helped strengthen the department's ability to deliver high-quality services and infrastructure improvements throughout the County.

Throughout her career, Oluseyi has earned national recognition for her expertise in transportation planning and public works. She is widely respected for her leadership, commitment to excellence, and dedication to advancing sustainable and efficient transportation solutions that improve mobility and quality of life for residents.

As Acting Director, Oluseyi is committed to building on DPW&T's strong foundation while advancing the department's mission to provide safe, reliable, and innovative public works and transportation services. She will continue to work alongside the department's dedicated employees, community partners, and County leadership to enhance infrastructure, improve transportation networks, and deliver exceptional service to the residents and visitors of Prince George's County.
