$70 Million Health and Human Services Building Opens

LARGO, MD – Prince George’s County celebrates the grand opening of the new Health and Human Services Building—a modern, centralized hub designed to improve access and coordination of vital services for residents.
In a landmark achievement, OCS proudly completed the delivery of the new $70 million Health and Human Services Building. This state-of-the-art facility significantly expands Prince George’s County’s ability to offer comprehensive health and community services from the Department of Health, Department of Family Services, Department of Social Services and Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission . Equipped with advanced technology, sustainable design, and energy-efficient systems, this building exemplifies our commitment to innovation and public welfare. A hub for community wellness and support, the new Health and Human Services Building was designed with accessibility, efficiency, and community engagement in mind.
Again, the building marks a major investment in the community, consolidating key agencies under one roof—including the Department of Family Services, Health Department, Department of Social Services, and a Senior Activity Center operated by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC).
