This component provides information and referral assistance to the general public regarding local and metropolitan resources for individuals with disabilities. The staff participates in local, state and federal meetings, which allow them to stay abreast of current resources. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Grievance Procedure


This grievance procedure is established to meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Amendment Act of 2008. It may be used by anyone who wishes to file a complaint alleging discrimination on the basis of disability in the provisions of services, activities, programs, or benefits by the County Government. The Charter for Prince George’s County Maryland, Executive Order 61-1995 and Executive Order 15-2000 govern employment related complaints of disability discrimination.
