Compliance Unit

The Compliance Unit maintains and reviews the official manuals (policies and procedures, post orders, inmate handbook etc.) and oversees facility certification by the Maryland Commission on Correctional Standards and accreditation by the American Correctional Association. This unit responds to requests for information from federal, state, and local authorities by completing surveys and providing ongoing statistical data.
