Youth Leadership Academy - Intro to Social Justice

The Office of Human Rights' Youth Leadership Academy will be in Upper Marlboro in October! This first session will be an introduction to social justice, highlighting social justice activists and organizations throughout the years, with youth given the opportunity to envision their own action plan for strengthening and equitizing communities.
All interested youth (12 to 18) are invited to drop-in at Upper Marlboro Branch Library (14630 Main Street) for any or all of the following YLA sessions:
- October 7 - introduction to social justice
- October 14 - human trafficking awareness
- October 21 - misinformation
- October 28 - the Social Justice Game
