Youth Leadership Academy - Human Trafficking

The Office of Human Rights' Youth Leadership Academy will be in Upper Marlboro in October! The second session focuses on human trafficking, with a guest speaker presenting on why human trafficking is often referred to as "a crime hidden in plain sight", signs of human trafficking, and risk factors. Youth get to ask questions of a subject matter expert and engage in an interesting hour about this important topic!
All interested youth (12 to 18) are invited to drop-in at Upper Marlboro Branch Library (14630 Main Street) for any or all of the following YLA sessions:
- October 7 - introduction to social justice
- October 14 - human trafficking awareness
- October 21 - misinformation
- October 28 - the Social Justice Game
