The Office of Human Rights' Youth Leadership Academy returns to Glenarden in September! The final session of Autumn in Glendarden features the Social Justice Game. Will you be an owner, manager, employee, or an unemployed person? How does your role impact game play? This fun game play gives youth the opportunity to consider the lottery of birth and the structures and systems that impact our life experience, while having an engaging and entertaining game experience.
All interested youth (12 to 18) are invited to drop-in at Glenarden Branch library (8724 Glenarden Parkway) for this final of September' YLA Sessions:
- September 1 - introduction to social justice
- September 8 - misinformation
- September 15 - human trafficking awareness
- September 22 - the Social Justice Game
