The Office of Human Rights' Youth Leadership Academy returns to Glenarden in September! This week's session will focus on misinformation in a playful way. Can you create the best (worst?) misinformation campaign? How do we determine if what we are seeing is mis- or disinformation or if it is reliable and trustworthy?
All interested youth (12 to 18) are invited to drop-in at Glenarden Branch library (8724 Glenarden Parkway) for any or all of the following YLA sessions:
- September 1 - introduction to social justice
- September 8 - misinformation
- September 15 - human trafficking awareness
- September 22 - the Social Justice Game
