The Office of Human Rights' Youth Leadership Academy returns to Glenarden in September! This dynamic session features a guest speaker presenting Human Trafficking Awareness, an introduction to human trafficking, its signs, and ways youth can engage in work to prevent it.
All interested youth (12 to 18) are invited to drop-in at Glenarden Branch library (8724 Glenarden Parkway) for any or all of the following YLA sessions:
- September 1 - introduction to social justice
- September 8 - misinformation
- September 15 - human trafficking awareness
- September 22 - the Social Justice Game
