About our guest:
Lindsey Baker is the Chief Executive Officer of Maryland Humanities, where she leads statewide efforts to build connections through stories, history, and conversation. Since joining the organization in 2020, she has guided Maryland Humanities through a period of renewal and innovation, launching the Humanities Now strategic plan and emphasizing partnerships that demonstrate the humanities’ power to foster understanding and strengthen communities across Maryland.
A Marylander since 2008 and a museum nerd by training, Lindsey brings more than two decades of experience in public history, nonprofit leadership, and organizational strategy to her work advancing the humanities statewide. She lives in West Laurel with her husband, Danny Cruz, their two children, Adriana and Axel, and an assortment of pets.
