New Carrollton Garage

The New Carrollton Garage opened in December 1986 to serve those using Metro, AMTRAK, and MARC. This 1,036 space garage was the first major parking facility to be operated by the Authority.

It is at 85 - 100% capacity most business days.

This is a fully automated garage:

• Extended parking is welcomed, please park in upper levels 3-4 and 5 floors or follow posted signs
• This is a pay on foot facility and the pay stations are located on the ground floor by the elevators north and south sides
• Credit cards payment are accepted- no coins or metro access card are accepted.
• The pay stations offer a lost ticket option at a higher rate, please safeguard your ticket
• For emergency and other problems, please use the helpline located at the pay stations and gates
• Boot returns are Monday thru Friday 1 pm to 5 pm (No weekends return)
• Effective Friday May 22nd 2020 cash payments will no longer be accepted
