Infection Control

The Infection Control Officer is responsible for:

  • Administrative management of infectious disease policies and procedures
  • Regulatory compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations
  • Immunizations and PPD skin testing
  • On-site mandatory education and training programs for new hires, current employees and volunteer members
  • 24-hour post-exposure counseling, referral and treatment hotline
  • Medical product evaluation, selection and review
  • Monthly infection control and safety reports
