Elevate 360: County Service Corps
The Office of Community Relations (OCR) Elevate 360: County Service Corps provides residents with an opportunity to actively support County outreach efforts while strengthening connections between government and the community. Volunteers play a vital role in helping OCR engage residents, share important information, and support community-focused initiatives across Prince George’s County.
Purpose
Elevate 360: County Service Corps was created to strengthen the connection between Prince George’s County Government and the communities it serves. Through hands-on support at outreach activities and County-sponsored events, volunteers help ensure residents are informed, engaged, and connected to valuable County resources and services.
By supporting OCR’s community engagement efforts, volunteers play a meaningful role in promoting public safety, preparedness, and civic participation while helping to build trust and foster stronger relationships across the County. The program offers residents an opportunity to give back, develop new skills, and make a visible impact in their communities.
Who Can Volunteer
The program is open to residents ages 15+ who are:
- Interested in community service and civic engagement
- Reliable, professional, and community-oriented
- Comfortable interacting with residents and County staff
- Available to assist at outreach events and programs
Opportunities may be suitable for adults, students, veterans, and retirees seeking meaningful service experiences.
Volunteer Roles
Volunteers may assist with:
- Community outreach and engagement events
- Event setup, registration, and logistics
- Distribution of County information and resources
- Supporting public safety, preparedness, and wellness initiatives
Training & Support
Volunteers will receive appropriate orientation and training, which may include:
- CPR and basic safety training
- Emergency preparedness education
- Naloxone awareness training (as applicable)
- Program guidelines and expectations
