Chuck Boddy serves as the Chief of the Parking Management Division for the Revenue Authority of Prince George's County, where he provides executive leadership over complex operations in a dynamic public-sector environment. In this role, he focuses on turning strategy into action, strengthening operational performance, modernizing systems, and ensuring parking services are delivered with efficiency, accountability, and a strong sense of public trust.
Chuck brings a broad professional background spanning federal service, higher education, and both public and private sector operations. He previously served as a Transportation Program Manager with the Department of Defense, leading complex initiatives to optimize transportation systems and improve organizational performance. He also served as the Director of Parking Services at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, advancing forward-thinking operational strategies and sustainable transportation initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles in both the public and private sectors, where he oversaw daily operations, managed multi-site facilities, led frontline and supervisory teams, and implemented process improvements that enhanced efficiency, accountability, and service quality.
Chuck holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from the University of Arizona Global Campus and a Master of Science in Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. He also holds the PTMP® credential - Parking, Transportation, and Mobility Professional - reflecting specialized expertise in parking management, transportation systems, and the evolving role of mobility in urban communities.
He is actively engaged in the parking and mobility profession. He currently serves as Vice President and the Past President of the Board of Directors for the Mid Atlantic Parking and Transportation Association (MAPTA) and is an active member of the International Parking and Mobility Institute (IPMI), where he has served on various committees.
His leadership philosophy is centered on passion, transparency, and innovation. He believes the strongest organizations are built on trust, clear communication, and a willingness to challenge the status quo in pursuit of better outcomes. He is committed to continuous improvement and to delivering solutions that are practical, equitable, and forward-looking.
Outside of his professional work, Chuck enjoys golfing, reading, and gardening - interests that mirror his steady, thoughtful approach to leadership and long-term growth.
