Registration for the 2024 Alsobrooks Summer Passport Experience is Now Open
County Youth Ages 12 to 15 Encouraged to Register to Participate
LARGO, MD – Today, Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks announced that registration for the 2024 Alsobrooks Summer Passport Experience (ASPE) is now open! Established during the summer of 2021, this award-winning program offers County youth ages 12 to 15 years a variety of summer activities and programs that they can participate in to keep them engaged during the summer.
“We are proud of this program, as it has proven to be successful in supporting our youth and keeping them constructively engaged during the summer months,” said County Executive Alsobrooks. “Through this experience, our young people receive education and training in a wide range of fields through this program. We remain committed to continuing to offer meaningful opportunities for our youth.”
Spearheaded by the Office of Stakeholder Engagement and Affairs, the ASPE offers summer activities and programs based on three Es: Education, Entrepreneurship, and Experience/Entertainment. In addition, the program provides youth with opportunities for fun and growth in areas including STEM, health and beauty, self-care, mental health, trades, entrepreneurship, and more. This year, ASPE participants will have 40 opportunities to choose from.
Interested youth can register here through Wednesday, May 29, at 5:00 PM. The program will officially begin on Monday, July 8, and conclude on Saturday, August 10.
