In honor of America Recycles Day/National Recycling Day on November 15 and the County’s continued efforts to promote recycling and waste diversion, Prince George’s County Department of the Environment (DoE), Resource Recovery Division (RRD) in partnership with Keep Prince George’s County Beautiful (KPGCB) present the annual Waste Diversion and Recycling Awards Ceremony.
DoE/RRD and KPGCB appreciate your continued effort and vigilance to optimize recycling and good solid waste practices. Your innovations are to be applauded and nominated for recognition. If you have created an activity or program or improved an existing program, please include the details in the nomination form below. This award will recognize Prince George’s County commercial businesses, non-profit organizations, schools, individuals, and other entities that have demonstrated exceptional achievements in recycling and waste diversion to advance the betterment of the environment.

Nonprofit groups and community organizations should describe programs demonstrating effective planning and measurable results with the support of the community.
