
Fiscal Affairs
This office is responsible for:
- Budgetary, payroll, grant and fiscal management compliance and accountability
- Annual operating budgets (career and volunteer) preparation, analysis, system input and reporting
- Fiscal management of the Department’s operational and administrative needs, including recording, approval and reporting of expenditures and revenues
- Preparation of financial reports, statistical reports, projections, status updates and related analysis
- Payroll accountability verification, monitoring, processing and reporting
- Processes, monitors, authorizes and reviews all accounts payable and receivable for career and volunteer elements
- Researches, writes, prepares, files, tracks and manages grants
- Analyzes need, writes, coordinates, submits and tracks all contracts, memorandums of understanding and agreements
- Compiles and files compliance reports, expenditure worksheets and conducts reconciliation to monthly financials for contracts and grants
- Liaison to other agencies and internally for payroll/budgetary/fiscal issues
- Provides technical assistance for inquiries related to contracts, budgetary, payroll and other fiscal issues
