  1. Land Acquisition and Real Property Announces Sale of Surplus Land

    November 4, 2019, 4:00 PM - January 6, 2020, 4:00 PM @ RMS Building

    Prince George;s County Land Aquistion and Real Property has County-owned parcels as surplus properties for disposal under the terms within County Council Resolution CR-71-2019. The price listed for each property is the appraised fair market value, and each property shall be disposed at not less than fair market value, on terms considered to be in the best interest of the County, but at a price not less than that bid by the highest responsive respondent. This Surplus Property Expression of Interest (“EOI”) offer will open on Monday, November 4th, 2019 through 4:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Tuesday, January 6th, 2020. The completed EOI proposal is due at the Office of Central Services, Land Acquisition and Real Property Division office.

  3. Youth Justice Reform Symposium

    November 15, 2019, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Bowie State University

    Please join the State’s Attorney, Council Member Calvin Hawkins, School Board Member Joshua Omolola and the students and faculty at Bowie State University for a discussion regarding youth justice reform.  The State’s Attorney and other stakeholders will discuss policies around youth justice reform, ways to end the school to prison pipeline and diversion.   The discussion will include youth justice policies ranging from diversion, to improving public safety, collaboration between stakeholders in the system and better outcomes for our youth.  Local high school students will also participate in this important event.  They will discuss what youth justice reform looks like to them and how they believe they can have a meaningful impact on these reforms.  While the event is free and open to the public, if you would like to attend please register today.
