STATE’S ATTORNEY AISHA BRAVEBOY TO DELIVER FIRST STATE OF JUSTICE ADDRESS IN PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY

U.S. Congressman Steny Hoyer among special guests at Symposium

UPPER MARLBORO, MD – Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Aisha N. Braveboy will deliver the first State of Justice address in the County for citizens, residents, business leaders, community leaders, elected officials, and the general public on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 6 p.m. at The Hotel at the University of Maryland, 7777 Baltimore Avenue, College Park, MD 20740.

“I am excited about the opportunity as State’s Attorney for Prince George’s County to address the community on public safety issues that affect the very fabric of our lives on a daily basis. My top priority has always been to keep our community safe and I am committed to an administration of justice in a firm, fair and transparent manner,” said Braveboy.

This will be the first time an elected State’s Attorney in Prince George’s County will host a State of Justice Symposium to formally address citizens about the state of criminal justice reform.

During her keynote address, Braveboy will focus on the priorities of her administration, policy implementation and initiatives of the office. Afterwards a panel of community justice partners will discuss the key issues with the public.

Some of our confirmed guests include U.S. Congressman Steny Hoyer; Radio One’s Ebony McMorris, who will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies and WHUR’s Harold Fisher, who will moderate the panel discussion.
