Free Conference for Real Conversations with Real Men Discussing Domestic Violence.

Camp Springs, MD - The Prince George's County, Department of Family Services, Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking Division will host a free MoMENtum Conference aimed at promoting healthy relationships and educating men and boys on the subject of domestic violence.  The purpose of the event is to create a positive dialog among participants and influence attitudes that lead to healthy relationships.   

The Keynote speaker for the event will be Tony Porter, CEO and Co-founder of A Call to Men - a violence prevention organization and respected leader on issues of manhood, male socialization and its intersection with violence, and preventing violence against all women and girls.  Resource tables will be available and breakout sessions will include topics on healthy relationships, perceptions of masculinity and rewriting the script for your life.

Approximately 350 participants have registered for this event.
