County Schedules Community Discussions on Zika Virus
Three forums to educate and raise prevention awareness.

LARGO, MARYLAND – Prince George’s County Health Department will hold its first community discussion June 17, 2016 at the Southern Regional Technology and Recreation Complex to educate the public on the Zika virus.

Dr. Howard Haft, Deputy Secretary of Public Health, Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, will discuss ways to prevent the spread of the Zika virus. The presentation will highlight safe ways for cleaning up standing water, travel advice and other preventative measures. The County will hold two additional community discussions on the virus.
